First time attending the Conference?
Are you an experienced AMIA member willing to share your enthusiasm for the conference?

You should participate in the AMIA Newcomers Breakfast!
Thursday, November 5th - 7:30am - 8:30am

The AMIA conference provides an opportunity for colleagues to meet, share information and work together. For newcomers to the Conference, we want you to get the most out of your Conference experience!

The Newcomers Breakfast matches first-time attendees with veteran AMIA conference-goers over a continental breakfast. Conference mentors offer advice on navigating the Conference to those who may be attending for the first time and help new AMIA members learn more about the organization. In return, first time Conference attendees provide experienced AMIA members an opportunity to meet newcomers to the field and the organization.

Participants will be matched prior to the conference and are encouraged to communicate by email. The Breakfast will give Mentors and Newcomers a chance to meet, as well as to meet and network with all the program particpants.
