You should participate in the AMIA Newcomers Mixer!
Wednesday, September 26th from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M.

AMIA has always been, and works to continue, to be an open and welcoming organization. The Newcomers Mixer fulfills this goal by matching first-time attendees with veteran AMIA conference-goers. Conference mentors give support and guidance to those who may be attending an AMIA conference for the first time and help new AMIA members learn more about the organization. In return, first time Conferece attendees provide experienced AMIA members an opportunity to meet newcomers to the field and the organization.

Participants will be matched prior to the conference and are encouraged to communicate by email. The Mixer will give Mentors and Newcomers a chance to meet, as well as to meet and network with all the program particpants.
