Getting to know you ...
Are you new to AMIA? First time attending the Conference? Are you an experienced AMIA member willing to share your knowledge of and enthusiasm for the conference and the organization? You should participate in the AMIA Mentor Mixer! AMIA strives to be an open and welcoming organization. The Mentor Mixer fulfills this goal by matching first-time attendees (Mentees) with established AMIA members (Mentors). Mentors give support and guidance to those who may be attending an AMIA conference for the first time and help new AMIA members learn more about the organization. Mentees provide experienced AMIA members an opportunity to meet newcomers to the field and the organization. Participants will be matched prior to the conference and are encouraged to communicate by email. The Mixer will give Mentors and Mentees a chance to meet, as well as to meet and network with all the program particpants.
